The Tiger

In 1925, during the Japanese occupation of Korea, a legendary hunter named Chun Man-duk is forced out of retirement to track down the last remaining tiger in the country. The tiger, known as the Mountain Lord, has been a symbol of Korean resistance against the Japanese oppressors, and its demise is seen as a way to crush the spirit of the Korean people. Despite his reluctance, Man-duk is drawn into the hunt, driven by a personal connection to the tiger that he has kept hidden for years. As he embarks on the perilous journey through the snow-blasted mountains, Man-duk must confront not only the tiger but also the dark secrets of his past and the harsh realities of the present. Will he be able to find the strength to face his destiny and protect the land he loves?
