In the world of Frisian music, a washed-up rockstar named Emiel Stoffers has become a self-absorbed, misogynistic, homophobic, coke-snorting mess. He's also taken in a street performer, Freddy, to do his dirty work. But when a serial killer starts targeting Frisian artists, Emiel becomes the prime suspect. As detective Goaitske van Goaitsen investigates and warns Emiel of the danger, Emiel takes drastic measures to protect himself and his newfound love interest, Freddy. He makes Freddy the new lead singer of his band and takes on the role of manager, all while trying to stay one step ahead of the killer.
