Machete Kills

Machete Kills follows the titular character, a former Federale agent, as he is recruited by the President of the United States to take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war and anarchy across the planet. The film features Danny Trejo reprising his role as Machete Cortez, along with a star-studded cast including Jessica Alba, Tom Savini, Electra and Elise Avellan, Marko Zaror, William Sadler, and Elon Musk. The movie begins with Machete and agent Sartana Rivera attempting to arrest corrupt military members involved in a weapons deal with a Mexican drug cartel. However, their mission is thwarted when another party of masked men arrives on the scene, led by a luchador-masked leader who kills Sartana. Machete is arrested and hanged by corrupt Sheriff Doakes and Deputy Clebourne, but he survives the hanging and is offered a deal by the US President Rathcock - if he can confirm a threat from Marcos Mendez, a psychopath who wants to fire a nuclear missile at Washington DC if the American government doesn't stop the cartels and corrupt Mexican government. Machete travels to San Antonio where he meets handler Blanca Vasquez before heading to Acapulco in search of Cereza - who can lead him to Mendez. Along the way he encounters various obstacles including brothel madam Desdemona (Cereza's mother), Mendez's enforcer Zaror; as well as multiple assailants such as prostitute assassins ; Doakes; Clebourne; shapeshifting hitman called El/La Camaleón; locals etc., all while trying to prevent hurting innocent people while taking down bad guys!
