In 1984, an atheist family moves to a manor in Durango, Mexico, unaware of its dark history. Their youngest daughter, Karem, is bullied at school and finds solace in an invisible entity named Naro. Naro grants Karem psychic powers, but her personality becomes increasingly aggressive and isolated. When Karem's classmates and teacher are mysteriously killed, her family and a priest investigate, revealing Naro's true nature as a malevolent demon. As the demon takes control of Karem and her family, a fierce battle between good and evil ensues, leading to a tragic and devastating outcome.
