"Power Rangers S.P.D.: The Battle to Save Earth" In the year 2025, Earth is under threat from the planet-conquering Troobian Empire and its ruthless leader, Emperor Gruumm. With the planet's first line of defense, the Space Patrol Delta A-Squad, mysteriously vanishing without a trace, the protection of Earth falls to their replacements: B-Squad Rangers Schuyler "Sky" Tate, Bridge Carson, and Sydney "Syd" Drew, led by their dog-like alien commander, Anubis "Doggie" Cruger. Joined by reformed thieves Jack Landors and Elizabeth "Z" Delgado as the Red and Yellow S.P.D Rangers, the team must put aside their differences and work together to defeat Gruumm's forces and save Earth from destruction. Along the way, they discover that Cruger has a personal vendetta against Gruumm and must come to terms with his past in order to save the planet.
