King Maker: The Change of Destiny

In the late 19th century, the Joseon Dynasty is in crisis. The ruling Kim family has abused their power, causing widespread famine and suffering. Amidst this turmoil, a young noble named Choi Chon-joong rises to prominence as Joseon's most skilled fortune teller and physiognomist. Fueled by a personal vendetta against the Kims, Chon-joong vows to overthrow the corrupt regime and reform the country. He identifies a potential ally in Lee Ha-eung, a humble member of the royal family, and decides to help him claim the throne. Meanwhile, the Kims also seek to maintain their grip on power, using the special gift of Bong-ryun, the daughter of the current king, who possesses the power of psychometry. As alliances are forged and broken, Chon-joong focuses on his mission to bring about a new era for Joseon through kingmaking. Will he succeed in his quest for change, or will the powerful forces of corruption prevail?
