Friesland

In the small town of Leer, Germany, a group of masked men, armed with harpoons, terrorize the community, especially targeting women. Amidst the chaos, a beloved tradition, the "Blauen Jans," is celebrated, but the city marketing manager, Elke Heseding, wants to commercialize it further. Meanwhile, two young police officers, Jens Jensen and Süher Özlügül are vying for a promotion, and their paths cross with Insa Scherzinger, a pharmacist and forensic hobbyist, who discovers the body of Felix Bilstedt, a drug dealer and son of a local farmer. As the investigation unfolds, tensions between Felix's father and his son come to light, and two drug dealers from Hamburg appear in Leer threatening Süher's father, Günesh, who is accused of being involved in a past drug deal that went awry. The officers must unravel the complex web of relationships and uncover the truth behind Felix's death to bring peace back to Friesland.
