Wounded Past

When Heloisa and Pedro first met, they were young and in love. But their families had other plans. Pedro's powerful family, who believed they were above the law, did everything in their power to keep the couple apart. Heloisa's father, desperate and alcoholic, tried to rob Pedro's family's textile company, but he was caught and arrested. In the aftermath, Heloisa's mother died of leukemia, and she was left alone. Pedro's family took advantage of the situation and convinced him to marry a woman they had chosen for him, Suzana. But Heloisa and Pedro's love never truly died. Years later, they reconnect and try to make their relationship work, but they face even more obstacles. Pedro's family is still against them, and Heloisa's powerful husband, Tiao, is not willing to let her go. The couple must fight for their love against all odds.
