Natasha Lyonne excels in this woozy love letter to the American underbelly.

...fuelled by Johnson and his writing team’s sharp scripting, a smorgasbord of starry cameos, and an instantly likeable leading lady, it more than delivers on all that promise.

It’s a show that loves three things equally: Natasha Lyonne, Columbo, and getting us hooked on stories.

I like how it didn’t change anything about what made the first season click and instead gave us more of it. I am totally here for that!

Season 2, by and large, is about accepting who you are, even if living your best life doesn’t mean living an easy life.

Natasha Lyonne’s fun detective show is painfully close to being a classic.

Cale is ultimately a deadpan masterpiece that only Lyonne could have come up with: a curious, empathic and extremely laid-back creation who continues to ground each outlandish case with a likeable throughline.

While it may seem odd to call a show featuring heinous crimes and strong themes "fun," Poker Face is super entertaining.
