an outlier: a space opera in a largely earthbound movie cycle (...), candy-colored and bopping where the other Marvel movies are muted and imposing, and the funniest one to date, without a doubt.

As in The Avengers, the main actors mesh well, the villain is imposingly played, and the intergalactic stakes couldn't be higher.

Der er absolut gyldne øjeblikke i Guardians of the Galaxy, hvor James Gunn rammer en perfekt blanding af 80'er-nostalgi, 00'er-selvbevidsthed og en grundlæggende kærlighed til materialet.
