Zach Galifianakis: Live at the Purple Onion

Zach Galifianakis takes the stage at San Francisco's Purple Onion nightclub, delivering a rip-roaring comedy set that showcases his signature dry wit and piano-playing skills. With a healthy dose of self-deprecation and a touch of absurdity, Galifianakis regales the audience with jokes both pre-written and improvised, all while accompanied by a light piano piece played by him. As the show comes to a close, he tears off pages of a large pad of paper containing his jokes, while the Pacific Boychoir sings "The Greatest Love of All." The DVD release includes two additional segments: an unscripted roadtrip to The Purple Onion in a Volkswagen Bus with Galifianakis and his friend Joe Wagner, and a loosely scripted interview of Galifianakis's brother "Seth Galifianakis" (played by Galifianakis) by Brian Unger.
