In the summer of 1992, a young musician named Chun Yin embarked on a quest to find his dream girl, Wong Ka Yan, after a chance encounter at a movie theater. With no smartphones or internet, Chun Yin resorts to unconventional methods, such as singing songs he wrote about Wong Ka Yan on the streets and calling every person with the surname Wong in the phone book. Along the way, he meets a diverse group of people, including a detective and a foreign guitarist, who are all impacted by Chun Yin's music and determination. As the story unfolds, Chun Yin's search for Wong Ka Yan becomes a journey of self-discovery and love that changes the lives of everyone involved.
