In for a Murder

In the small town of Millfield, a stay-at-home mom named Magda discovers a woman's dead body in the park while walking her dog. As an avid reader of crime stories, Magda's curiosity is piqued, and she begins investigating the murder. She soon realizes that the victim's necklace is identical to the one her best friend Weronika wore before she went missing years ago. Convinced that the two cases are connected, Magda doggedly pursues the truth, much to the dismay of her old friend Jacek Sikora, the town's chief of police. As Magda digs deeper, she uncovers a web of corruption and deceit among the town's residents, putting her own life in danger. Will she be able to solve the murder before it's too late?
