In the rural heartland of India, a young man named Vetrivel (Sasikumar) is determined to unite his younger brother Saravanan (Ananth Nag) with the girl he loves, Subha (Varsha Bollamma), despite their families' long-standing feud. When their plan to kidnap Subha goes awry and they accidentally abduct another girl, Latha (Nikhila Vimal), Vetrivel takes responsibility for his mistake and marries her to protect her honor. As Vetrivel navigates the complex web of family rivalries and romantic entanglements, he must confront his own feelings for the independent-minded agriculture researcher Janani (Miya) and confront the dark secrets of his family's past. Will Vetrivel be able to bring peace to his family and find happiness for himself and his loved ones?
