The Nest

The Nest is a drama movie that tells the story of a family who moves from a comfortable life in New York City to a mansion in the English countryside in the late 1980s. Rory O'Hara, the ambitious husband and father, persuades his wife Allison to make the move, promising her a prosperous future and convincing her to start her own horse farm on their new property. However, things take a turn for the worse when construction on their stable stops and Allison discovers that Rory's bank account is nearly empty. As tensions rise and money becomes scarce, cracks begin to appear in their marriage and family relationships. The film explores themes of ambition, class struggle, isolation, and self-destruction as Rory's desperate attempts to maintain their affluent lifestyle lead them down a dangerous path.
