In the midst of a civil war in Africa, a young Japanese doctor named Koichiro Shimada finds himself working in a hospital, treating wounded soldiers and civilians. Despite the challenges he faces, Koichiro is determined to make a difference. One day, he encounters a boy soldier named Ndung'u, who has been severely wounded mentally and physically. As Koichiro works to heal Ndung'u's wounds, he begins to question his own fate and the role he can play in bringing hope and healing to a desperate world.
