The Chosen

In 1937, a young Spanish communist named Ramón Mercader is recruited by the Soviet intelligence service to participate in a top secret mission: the assassination of Leon Trotsky, who is living in exile in Mexico. As Ramón undergoes training and prepares for the mission, he must navigate his own political beliefs and personal relationships, all while confronting the harsh realities of the world he lives in. But as he draws closer to his target, Ramón begins to question everything he thought he knew about loyalty, duty, and the true cost of revolution. Will he follow his orders and complete the mission, or will he choose a different path?
