The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It follows Cassie Keller (Emily Osment), a goth teenager who enjoys pulling pranks and reading, as she discovers a mysterious Halloween store and ignores warnings not to read a book called "The Evil Thing" aloud or think about it. When Cassie reads the book to her brother Max (Alex Winzenread), they unleash a two-headed monster that captures them and their friends. Cassie enlists Sean (Cody Linley), who helps her figure out how to defeat the creature. After they save their friends, Cassie realizes that the book has been brought back to life when her father reads it aloud again, and they must face the monster once more. This fantasy horror film explores themes of bullying, sibling relationships, friendship, courage, self-discovery, warning, repercussions, fear, revenge, and Halloween festivities.
