Pray for Rain

In the scorching heat of a drought-ridden California town, a young journalist returns to her childhood home to investigate the suspicious death of her father. The once-idyllic farming community has been ravaged by gangs and extreme poverty, and the journalist soon discovers that her father's death was not an accident. As she digs deeper, she uncovers a web of secrets and lies that threaten to destroy the very fabric of the community.
