Mr. and Mrs. Iyer

A bus journey from West Bengal to Chennai becomes a life-changing experience for Meenakshi Iyer, a traditional Hindu Brahmin woman, when she meets a Muslim photographer named Raja Chowdhury. As they face the danger of Hindu-Muslim communal riots, Meenakshi is forced to confront her deeply ingrained prejudices about religion and caste. When Raja reveals his Muslim identity, Meenakshi's initial shock and discomfort give way to a deeper understanding and respect for his beliefs. As they pose as a married couple to protect themselves, their bond grows stronger, and they begin to question the societal norms that have defined their lives. But as they near their destination, Meenakshi's husband, Mr. Iyer, awaits her arrival, unaware of the transformative journey his wife has undertaken. Will Meenakshi find the courage to reveal her experiences and newfound beliefs to her husband, or will she keep them hidden?
