Moonlight Shadow: A Fateful Encounter In the moonlit shadows of a riverbank, Satsuki (Nana Komatsu) and Hitoshi (Hio Miyazawa) met and fell deeply in love. Their relationship was so perfect that it seemed almost too good to be true. Hitoshi, completely smitten with his new girlfriend, couldn't wait to introduce Satsuki to his younger brother Hiiragi (Himi Sato) and Yumiko (Nana Nakahara), who had a mild obsession with the paranormal. The four young people hit it off immediately and enjoyed an almost supernatural happiness. However, their joy was short-lived. Involved in a fatal car accident, Satsuki and Hiiragi were forced to say goodbye to Hitoshi and Yumiko forever. Overwhelmed by guilt and sadness, the two survivors had no choice but to find a way to move forward, but letting go of those they loved most was easier said than done. As they sank deeper into depression, a mysterious woman appeared, offering a glimmer of hope. Would she reunite them with their lost loves, or lead them down a path from which there was no return? Based on Banana Yoshimoto's 1988 short story "Sombra a la luz de la luna", "Moonlight Shadow" is a 2021 drama film directed by Edmund Yeo.
