Kuessipan

In a small Innu community in Quebec, two childhood friends, Mikuan and Shaniss, have always dreamed of sticking together. However, their plans are put to the test as they approach adulthood and their paths begin to diverge. Mikuan falls in love with a white boy and dreams of leaving the reservation to pursue her dreams, while Shaniss struggles with her past and becomes a mother at a young age. As they face the challenges of growing up and growing apart, they must confront the harsh realities of their community and learn to find their own way.
