Tears of April

In 1918, Finland is torn apart by civil war between the socialist Reds and the conservative Whites. A young Red soldier, Miina, is captured and sentenced to death, but a young White soldier, Aaro, decides to risk everything to give her a chance at a fair trial. Defying his commanders, Aaro escorts Miina through the war-torn countryside, facing danger and uncertainty at every turn. As they journey together, they discover an unlikely connection that challenges the hatred and violence that surrounds them. Will their love be strong enough to survive the horrors of war and bring hope to a divided nation?
