Independence Day

On July 2, a massive alien spacecraft enters Earth's orbit and deploys smaller, destructive ships that quickly decimate major cities worldwide. The United States conducts a failed counterattack on July 3. A group of survivors must unite to save humanity from annihilation in a final showdown against the extraterrestrial threat on July 4. The plan involves infiltrating the alien mothership in space and planting a nuclear missile to destroy it. With the fate of humanity at stake, the group embarks on their dangerous mission. The movie features an all-star cast, including Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, and Bill Pullman.
