High Ground

In the lawless frontier of northern Australia, a bloody conflict rages between European settlers and the indigenous Yolngu people. Travis, a former soldier turned bounty hunter, is recruited by the authorities to track down Baywara, a fearsome Aboriginal warrior responsible for attacks on new settlers. Gutjuk, a young Yolngu man and the only survivor of a massacre that wiped out his family, joins Travis on his quest. As they navigate the harsh terrain and confront their own demons, the truth about the past is revealed, putting Travis on a collision course with Baywara, the man he is supposed to kill.
