License to Wed is a romantic comedy about a young couple, Ben and Sadie, who are eager to get married and start their life together. However, they face a roadblock when Sadie's pastor, Reverend Frank, refuses to marry them until they complete his patented and "foolproof" marriage preparation course. The course consists of outrageous classes, bizarre homework assignments, and some intrusive privacy invasion, all of which put the couple's relationship to the test. As they navigate the challenges of the course, Ben and Sadie begin to question whether they are truly ready for marriage and whether their love can withstand the pressures of Reverend Frank's unconventional methods.
