In the Peruvian Andes, a police detective named Waldo investigates a series of crimes linked to ancient indigenous rituals. He discovers a boy and a girl who are about to enter puberty and are interacting with mythical beings, a common belief in many Andean villages.s. A sinister character, known as the "Extirpator of Idolatries," disrupts this peaceful scene with his religious dogmatism and intolerance. While Waldo's boss doubt his methods, he continues to capture the Extirpator. At the same time, Waldo must confront his own inner conflict that has haunted him for years.
