Detroit Rock City

"Detroit Rock City" is a coming-of-age comedy-drama film that follows the adventures of four teenage friends, Hawk, Lex, Trip Verudie, and Jeremiah "Jam" Bruce, who are on a mission to attend a Kiss concert in Detroit in 1978. Despite facing numerous obstacles along the way, including a lack of tickets and a run-in with a group of disco fans who are determined to ruin their plans, the boys remain determined to make it to the concert. Along their journey, they encounter various characters, including Amanda Finch (played by Shannon Tweed), who offers to help them secure tickets but has her own ideas about how they should spend their evening. The film features Edward Furlong and Natasha Lyonne as two of the lead characters and boasts a memorable soundtrack featuring hits from Kiss and other popular rock bands of the era.
