Common Ground

"Common Ground" is a poignant drama about a retired literature professor, Fernando Robles, who, along with his wife Liliana, embarks on a new chapter in their lives after being forced to retire. They move to a small lavender farm in Córdoba, where they face the challenges of starting anew. As Fernando struggles to find his place in this unfamiliar world, he begins to write a novel, narrating his thoughts and feelings in voice-overs. Just as they start to adjust to their new life, tragedy strikes, and Fernando's health takes a turn for the worse. With time running out, he must come to terms with his mortality and say goodbye to his loved ones. Despite the heartbreak, Liliana chooses to carry on her husband's legacy and stays in the farm, finding solace in the beauty of the lavender fields.
