Charlotte Lacy, a struggling actress, is on the verge of giving up her dreams of stardom when she's offered a leading role in a modern take on "A Christmas Carol." As she falls in love with the show's director, Julian Walker, she rediscovers her passion for her craft and the city. But when the historic theater loses its lease, the show is in danger of folding, and Charlotte and her castmates need a Christmas miracle to save it. With the help of a kind-hearted stranger, they band together to find a way to keep the theater open and make the show a success. As the curtain rises on opening night, Charlotte realizes that the true meaning of Christmas is not just about ghosts and miracles, but also about the love and support of the people around her.
