Chandni Bar

Chandni Bar follows the story of Mumtaz, a young woman who is forced to work in a seedy bar in Mumbai after her family is killed in communal riots. She is raped by her uncle, who lives off her earnings, and is later saved by a gangster named Pottya who marries her and takes her away from the bar. However, Pottya's volatile temper and criminal activities eventually lead to his death, and Mumtaz is left to fend for herself and her children. She returns to work at the bar to provide for her family, but her son Abhay becomes embroiled in the criminal underworld and seeks revenge against those who wronged him. The film explores themes of poverty, violence, and the cyclical nature of crime and violence in Mumbai's underworld.
