In the lawless frontier town of Bright Hope, a sheriff and his posse embark on a perilous journey to rescue kidnapped settlers from a tribe of cannibalistic troglodytes. With the help of an educated Native American guide, they race against time to reach the cannibals' lair before it's too late. But as they face off against their savage enemies, they realize that their mission may not be just about saving lives, but also about redeeming themselves.
