Basic Instinct

A mysterious and seductive novelist, Catherine Tramell, is suspected of murdering a retired rock star, Johnny Boz, in San Francisco. Homicide detective Nick Curran, who is struggling with his own personal demons, is assigned to the case. As he delves deeper into the investigation, he becomes increasingly drawn to Catherine, despite his suspicions that she may be involved in the crime. The two engage in a passionate and tense affair, but Nick's obsession with Catherine leads him down a dangerous path as he becomes embroiled in a web of deceit and murder. As the body count rises and the investigation intensifies, Nick must confront his own dark desires and confront Catherine about her true nature. Will he be able to uncover the truth before it's too late?
