"Under the Same Sky" follows the storys of an Moroccan immigrant couple living in Spain, who are forced to confront the harsh realities of their new life. When the father returns to Morocco due to lack of better job opportunities and the mother stays behind, their 11-year-old daughter is left torn between her love for both parents. As the father struggles to find his place in his homeland, the daughter finds solace in her passion for writing, and the mother fights to regain custody. With the help of a compassionate professor, the family must navigate their way through cultural and personal challenges to find understanding and love.
