Franklin and his friends are excited to return to school after a fun-filled summer, but they're in for a surprise when they meet their substitute teacher, Miss Koala, a free-spirited and adventurous educator from Australia. At first, Franklin and the class are hesitant about Miss Koala's unconventional teaching methods, but they soon discover that change can be a good thing.
