Above the Rim

Above the Rim is a gripping drama that follows the story of Kyle-Lee Watson (Duane Martin), a talented high school basketball player who is torn between his loyalty to his coach Mike Rollins (David Bailey) and a local drug dealer Birdie (Tupac Shakur) who wants him to join his team. As Kyle navigates through the challenges of his basketball career, he also has to deal with his mother Mailika's (Tonya Pinkins) relationship with Shep (Leon), a former basketball star turned security guard who has a dark past.
