Two small-time crooks, Sachin and Zaramud, are hired by a bookie to retrieve a debt from a gambling addict in Delhi. They embark on a series of misadventures, including a run-in with a notorious bookie, a botched attempt to bet on a cricket match, and a kidnapping. Along the way, Sachin develops feelings for a hotel floor manager named Pooja. As they navigate the criminal underworld, they uncover a major match-fixing scandal that threatens to expose the dark side of the sport they love. Will they be able to break the curse of always being stuck at '99' and achieve their dreams?
