Soul

In the mountains, a man named A-Chuan experiences a mysterious transformation after collapsing at work.s He becomes immobile, and his behavior becomes disturbing to his family. He kills his sister and later his son-in-law and buries the body. His father, Wang, tries to help him but ends up confining him to a shed. A messenger arrives, and A-Chuan jumps into a well, seeing visions of his mother and himself. Wang reveals that his wife didn't kill herself but asked him for a mercy killing. A city cop arrives to investigate but is killed by A-Chuan. A-Chuan's police friend wounds him but is saved by Mr. Wang, who takes charge of the blame for the murders. After a year, A-Chuan works in the mountains while Mr. Wang is transferred to a sanatorium. A-Chuan visits him and reveals he met the real A-Chuan's spirit, who said he was going home.
