Wayward Pines is a psychological thriller television series that premiered in 2015. It is based on the best-selling novel "Pines" by Blake Crouch and was brought to life by suspenseful storyteller M. The second season introduces Dr. Theo Yedlin (Jason Patric), a surgeon who becomes embroiled in a battle between Jason Higgins (Tom Stevens), leader of the First Generation, which took over Wayward Pines following an incident known as the Abbie incident that closed season 1, and Ben Burke (Charlie Tahan), Ethan's son who leads an underground rebellion against Jason's rule.
