In the medieval land of Japan, a legendary swordsmith named Kiki Shikizaki created 1,000 swords, each one more powerful than the last. The ruling shogun collected 988 of these swords, but the last 12 were the most potent, capable of granting their wielder unimaginable power. Togame, the shogun's strategist, is tasked with retrieving these weapons, but her previous attempts have ended in betrayal. Now, she must rely on Shichika Yasuri, the only surviving member of the Kyotoryuu school, a mysterious and powerful swordsman who wields no sword, but possesses unmatched martial prowess. Together, they embark on a perilous journey to collect the legendary blades and assert their dominance over the land.
