Insomniacs After School follows the story of Ganta Nakami, a high school student who suffers from chronic insomnia. He meets Isaki Magari, a girl with the same condition, and they form an unusual bond as they share a secret and catch up on their sleep in their school's abandoned observatory. As they spend more time together, they discover new hobbies and interests, such as astronomy and photography, and their relationship deepens. But can their friendship survive the challenges that come with their shared insomnia?
