Surprised by how much I loved this completely unhinged comedy! At one point, I had tears in my eyes from laughing, and it seemed like the rest of the theater did too. Sure, the story is a bit… but who cares when it’s so much fun!
Everyone, Colman and Cumberbatch especially, appears to be having a lovely time lampooning what is for most people in the real world a harrowing state of affairs; sly grins winning out over true sadism.
