Tricked is a twisty and unpredictable drama that follows the story of Remco, a successful businessman whose life takes a drastic turn during his 50th birthday party. As his business partners scheme behind his back and his former mistress shows up pregnant, Remco's new girlfriend, who is also his daughter's babysitter, adds a new level of complexity to the situation. Part behind-the-scenes documentary, part narrative feature, this film is the result of an innovative experiment in filmmaking, with director Paul Verhoeven crowd-sourcing parts of the script.
