The Witch is a horror film set in 17th-century New England. A family of English settlers, banished from their Puritan plantation, build a new home near a dense forest. When their infant son vanishes and their crops fail, they become increasingly paranoid and accusatory, believing that a witch has cursed them. Tensions rise as they turn against each other, and the family's descent into madness and terror begins.
