The Odd Life of Timothy Green

The movie tells the story of Cindy and Jim Green, a happily married couple who live in the town of Stanleyville and work at the local museum and pencil factory, respectively. They dream of starting a family, but are unable to conceive. One stormy night, they write down their wishes for their ideal child on slips of paper and bury them in their backyard. The next morning, they find a young boy named Timothy at their doorstep, who claims to be their son. They soon discover that Timothy has leaves growing on his legs, but they also realize that he is the culmination of all their wishes for their child. As they try to navigate raising Timothy and dealing with the challenges that come with his unique feature, they learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life's greatest gifts.
