The Innocent is a comedy-crime-romance film about Sylvie, a prison theater teacher teacher who falls in love with Michel, a thug she marries in prison. Their dream of starting a flower shop together is met with disapproval from Sylvie’s son Abel, who is convinced that Michel will fall into a life of crime.
