In a small Korean town, a charismatic church elder named Choi Gyeong-seok has convinced the residents to trust him with their savings, promising to relocate them to a new home and a better life. But Kim Min-chul, a rough-around-the-edges outcast, discovers the dark truth behind Choi's scheme: he's a con artist posing as a religious leader, and his real goal is to steal the villagers' money. As Min-chul tries to expose Choi, he faces opposition from the village's respected Reverend Sung and the rest of the community, who are blinded by their faith in Choi. But when Min-chul's daughter is forced into prostitution by Choi, he becomes consumed by a desire for revenge and takes matters into his own hands. Will Min-chul be able to bring down Choi's corrupt empire, or will the villagers continue to fall victim to his deceit?
