In a small Czech village, a shocking event sets off a chain reaction of fear, prejudice, and conflict. When a delivery van crashes into a crowd, injuring a local resident, the village's volunteer fire brigade springs into action. But as they investigate, tensions rise between two long-time friends and firefighters, Broňa and Standa. Broňa is convinced that the incident is a terrorist attack committed by a migrant, while Standa sees it as an accident. As they dig deeper, their differing perspectives threaten to tear their friendship apart and reveal the darker truths about their community. A thought-provoking and laconic exploration of the roots of racism and exclusion, set against the backdrop of a quaint village torn apart by suspicion and mistrust.
