In a world where aliens have taken over Los Angeles after a wild night of partying that left people zombie-like after being hypnotized by mysterious blue lights from the sky, a pregnant woman finds solace in the protection of her husband after he physically starts changing and lifts their neighbor off the floor. The United States Air Force launches an attack against the alien spaceship, but unfortunately, the aliens survive after the ship slowly begins to repair itself. The couple accepts their fate and looks into the blue light before being sucked into the mother ship where they later find themselves on a pile of human bodies with tubes sucking their brains into machines.
