The 36th Chamber of Shaolin

The 36th Chamber of Shaolin follows the journey of Liu Yude, a young student who seeks vengeance and liberation for the people after his family and friends are killed by the brutal Manchu government. Liu arrives at the Shaolin temple, seeking to learn kung fu and becomes San Te after a year of training. San Te must then go through the temple's 35 chambers, each specializing in one aspect of kung fu. Along the way, he faces challenges such as memorizing Buddhist sutras, jumping on a bundle of sticks floating in water, carrying water with blades attached to his arms, striking a gong with a long weighted bamboo pole, following a light without turning his head, and headbutting his way through sandbags. Will San Te be able to master the skills and become a powerful kung fu warrior?
